Little Bit Edgy
My friend Zach Arrington is also my co-worker here at American Money Team. [In addition, he fronts a soulful rock band called Elroy.] He’s got a good head on his shoulders, and he had the wherewithal to capture some poetry during one of our recent, long, pat-yourselves-on-the-back company meetings. I just sat there.
Here are some phrases he jotted down in the order in which they echoed through the room:
Maturing as an organization
The long term
A New Alliance
The middle phase
It’s a big priority
Tools and resources
Current value proposition
Prepare ourselves for the future
A victim of our own success
It’s a great opportunity
5% ahead of plan
The money we make on the money
The volatility of the market
Free T-shirt
How do we get the next billion?
Rough parameters
These guys are proactively making calls
Leaders within the distribution
A good sense of humor
Trillions and trillions of dollars
We’re gonna be different
Niche strategies
Deliver on those promises
A little bit edgy
Retiring baby boomers
Collective feedback
We had that word “progress…”
270 Day Tech Blast
Adoption and Integration and Optimization
“You’re crazy - No!”
Cookies and Kool-Aid session
The heart of our operations
Broad and complex initiatives
A smart plan
There is always change
Thanks, Zach!

Discontent is the first necessity of progress.
