Is This Interesting?
Thoughts/feelings that just might not matter:
>Happy September, everyone! And happy Labor Day Weekend! I will not be “publishing” on Monday, but I’ll be back Tuesday no doubt. Hey, I made it through my first month of this whole Dot Net thing, and I feel good about that. ‘Five chunks of fun, five times a week’ seemed pretty scary at first, but I think I’ve created something unique, and I’m excited to keep it going.
Now that I’ve got a month’s worth of content and momentum, it’s time to start spreading the word and increasing the readership. If you’re reading this now, you’re one of the pioneers of this particular web experience. Please do tell your friends, and let me know if you have any promotional ideas. Go ahead and e-mail anyone you know who is regularly bored at work. Thanks!
I’m sad to report that today’s Spaiku is the final chapter of Spike Gillespie’s Haiku History of the World. She was very gracious to let me publish them, and I enjoyed every one. I do have a couple of outtakes and some other haikus, so look for those in the future. For now, though, if you enjoyed the Haiku History of the World, send Spike an e-mail [spike@spikeg.com] to let her know. I think she’d appreciate that, and perhaps it would encourage her to create more. Thanks, Spike.
Three Day Weekend! Woo!
