The 8th Day of Southpaw: Retro Blog
Happy New Year again! I hope you’re enjoying these tiny updates. The site will return to normal on Monday, January 7, 2008.
Here’s a genuine, pencil-on-paper-in-cursive blog entry from February 18, 1986:
Saturday, I mostly stayed home and there’s not much to tell but on Sunday we did alot. First we went to church then came back and ate lunch then we played some then we asked our dad to put up a tire for a swing and he did. We played on that until it was time for church again. After church we watched Mr. Mom and went to bed.
In the morning we got dressed and before anything else we went to go swing. Our mom went to school because she didn’t have a day off so we stayed home until our dad picked us up for lunch. We went to Ozark to a place called Dot’s. We got some hamburgers, drinks, and a comic book and we were ready to go. We went to the park to eat. Then our mother picked us up and took us home. Then we played on the tire again, watched TV, and went to bed.

I post whatever I want every weekday. I reserve the right to change my opinions. It is not my intention to bore.
